I noticed that when I go to save and name a
.manuscript package file, any title I have written for my manuscript gets overwritten with the filename. For example, when I open a blank manuscript, write a bit, and title my manuscript say, "Wanderings of a Lazy Dog," and then go to save the
.manuscript file as
dog.manuscript, then my title within the document changes to "Dog." I cannot utilize the
undo command at this point.
When I go to correct my title to "Wanderings of a Lazy Dog," the supposed filename at the top of the window changes to
Wanderings of a Lazy Dog, but when clicking on it or viewing in the Finder, it still shows as
dog.manuscript -- which is good, but kind of misleading when viewing at the top of the window.
I'm wondering if this is something that has been noticed. The second instance is inconvenient, but I could work with it. The first part is a little more troublesome, especially if I cannot go back and undo anything after the initial save.
