Yello!

LaTeX exports produce ugly tables. First: text is vertically aligned to the top, cramming everything right up to a cell’s top border. Here’s an example:

Granted, I’m not too familiar with writing LaTeX directly, but I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a way to center text vertically in respect to each cell.

Second: about 5 months ago someone brought up the lack of bottom table border in LaTeX exports when no footer was present and reading the thread (http://support.manuscriptsapp.com/topic/168/table-format/2) will leave you with the impression that this should have been fixed by now.

I’ve been trialling Manuscripts and I’ve managed to get it work for me by pasting the pertinent part of the LaTeX output into my own template. However, I can’t live with the way the tables look and manually sorting through the table TeX after each export is not a viable option. Is it realistic to expect any change on this soon?
