I cannot figure out the way to cite and make it appear as ordinal number in the text body, not in the author and year/ author/year format. For example, I tried to make it look like this: "It was proven in a recent research. (1)", rather than "It was proven in a recent research. (ABC et al.)". How can I do this? I am new to Manuscript. Thank you in advance for your help.
@dhtt what you're looking for is the way to choose the citation style. Manuscripts comes bundled with about 7,000 of them, including ones in the style you are looking for. You'll find instructions for choosing the citation style over here: http://support.manuscriptsapp.com/topic/17/choosing-a-citation-style/2
